Winter at CSEA - Community News & Updates

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Winter is definitely coming:

--Deer hunters are out in force and the gunshots can be heard early each morning.

--Boyne Mountain has started making snow and should be open soon.

--Mornings have been chilly in the mid 20's the last few days.

Eveline Township and CSEA News:

--The Ironton Ferry is closing for the season this Wed at 10:30 pm.

--Addition of the Township Hall is proceeding and exterior is almost complete.











--CSEA Spinnaker Lane Island landscaping has been completed and looks good.

Summer at CSEA - Community Updates

It has been a great summer on Lake Charlevoix.  A little warm at times but a good opportunity to take a dip in the lake to cool off.

We have some very nice new park furniture thanks to Bill & Karen for spearheading the project to purchase and assemble and Wilbur & Louise and Gary & Karen for finishing.  They are great for siting and enjoying the beautiful sunsets in the park.
Unfortunately, we could not get enough participation for our picnic scheduled for Saturday August 13th and had to cancel it this year.  Just too many other activities I guess.

Memorial Day Weekend!

Remember our 58,178 Vietnam Soldiers that gave the Ultimate Sacrifice.

Hard to believe May is almost over and the holiday weekend is here already.  It is still a little cool and a little rain is in the forecast,  but there are a lot of activities going on around the area.

 Boyne City has a special Service at 12 noon on Monday, May 30, 2011.  It will be at BC Veterans Memorial Park

End of Winter?

It has been a long cold winter with only a few weeks to go before Spring! 

Our Annual meeting is scheduled for May 14th at 1pm at the Eveline Township Hall.  If you have any agenda items please e-mail them to me (jruler@charter.net) at least one week before the meeting.
Our mailing with preliminary agenda and dues notice will be mailed out tomorrow so watch for it early next week.
